We've slapped our money down on the table, and are just waiting to close the deal for Lot 14 in on Gambier Island in Howe Sound. Fingers are crossed, magazines thumbed, and plans drawn on napkins. And I bought a chainsaw, which scares me a little.
So as not to jinx the deal we won't be writing anything else until we actually get all the paper work done. Fingers crossed.

Where on Gambier? (chainsaws aren't that scary - read the manual)
Sorry, that first comment was a bit abrupt (before first coffee of the day).
We bought a lot on Grove road in West Bay, and have been having fun hacking it into shape (no construction yet). I've had fun learning how to handle a chainsaw too.
Good luck w/ the closing!
No worries!
I've actually used chainsaws before, but that was years ago, and I was drunk. Those things are scary when sober! Still getting the hang of it without booze to make be brave.
By chance did you recently haul an Airstream over? If so I've seen the Flickr photo set.
